Mayville State is located in the heart of the Red River Valley, home to a variety of entertainment options. The city of Mayville has its own movie theater, sporting events, and outdoor opportunities while Mayville State hosts musicians from around the world, Comet athletic events run throughout the year, students perform plays, and an art gallery is located on campus.

The Mayville State Student Activities Council sponsors events for students throughout the year, bringing in nationally known comedians, hypnotists, improv comedy troupes, bands, as well as hosting dances, student talent shows, and speakers.

Students can also hop in a car with friends to enjoy the events in Fargo and Grand Forks, both less than an hour’s drive away from Mayville.
