The Child Development Programs at Mayville State include:
* Early Head Start, which provides services to pregnant women, infants, and toddlers. * Head Start, which provides comprehensive pre-school education for children ages 3- 5. * CHEERS after school program. * Childcare, which is integrated across all age groups and locations. * Even Start literacy program.
Each of these programs provides a wide array of individualized services for children and their families. Services available through these programs include:
* Developmental screenings. * Health and dental checks and follow up. * Referrals for disability services. * Pre-natal care. * Parent training and education. * Opportunities to learn about child development and behavior. * Referrals for fuel assistance, financial services, and mental health counseling.
