AwardsThe MSU Alumni Association Board meets each year in June to choose that year’s recipients of the Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished Service Awards. Nominations for the awards are accepted throughout the year. Individuals selected to receive the awards are honored during homecoming festivities during that same year.Distinguished Alumni Award The Mayville State University Distinguished Alumni Award is awarded to graduates of Mayville State who have been leaders in their fields for a minimum of ten years. Distinguished Alumni Nomination Form Distinguished Service Award The Mayville State University Distinguished Service Award is presented to Mayville State personnel, teachers, professors, or administrators who make exceptional contributions, with a minimum of ten years of service. Other individuals who are eligible to receive the award are those who have made exemplary contributions to Mayville State through community activities. Distinguished Service Award recipients may or may not be Mayville State alumni. This award was re-established in 1998. Athletic Hall of Fame The Mayville State University Athletic Hall of Fame honors and preserves the memory of those athletes, teams, coaches, and others who have contributed in a very outstanding and positive way to the promotion of Mayville State University athletic programs. The Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Committee Meetos each year between June 1 and June 15 to review nominations and select inductees who will be honored during the Mayville State University Homecoming festivities the following fall. Plaques representing each of Mayville State's Athletic Hall of Fame inductees are housed in the Hall of Fame located in Lewy Lee Fieldhouse.
