Patrons under 16:  Patrons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Computing policy:  Students, faculty, & staff of Mayville State University have priority in using the public access computers at the Library.  Any other patron must give way to them.

You forfeit the right to use any computer in the Library if you violate the computer policies of either the North Dakota University System or Mayville State University or if, in the judgment of the Library staff, you use this computer inappropriately.

Mission

The function of Byrnes-Quanbeck Library is to support the teaching and learning that goes on at
Mayville State University.  The library supports the University's mission by providing materials that
guide students into realizing their potential and enhancing their lives.  The Library strives to promote Mayville
State's vision by making the Library an environment where each individual can find what he or she needs. 
The Library joins in the University's purpose by sharing the resources with the wider community and by
helping all patrons find their way through the information-rich world.
