Nationally Recognized Presenter Corwin Kronenberg to speak at Mayville State University

FP“You Make a Difference” is the theme for a presentation by Corwin Kronenberg planned for Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Mayville State University. The seminar will run from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., and will be held in the Classroom Building Auditorium at Mayville State University. The public is invited to attend for a charge of $10.00 per person. Mayville State University faculty, staff, and students will be admitted free of charge. The seminar is being sponsored by the Mayville State University Division of Education and Psychology.

NC“You make a difference to your students - this workshop will make a difference to you,” according to Kronenberg. “This workshop will provide practical techniques for building positive selfhood in students; help teachers create a learning environment that enhances self-esteem; and further professional development, spark enthusiasm, and be fun.”

Through a unique blend of theory, practical demonstrations, and humor, seminar participants will learn some powerful techniques for building self-concept on a daily basis. The topic outline includes “Definition of Terms: Self-Concept, Self-Esteem, and Selfhood,” “Understanding How Selfhood develops in a Child,” “Your Role as an Esteem Builder,” “How Self-Concept Affects Behavior,” and “Techniques for Programming Kids for Success.”

Corwin Kronenberg is a parent, author, teacher and presenter. His 34 years of experience in the school setting makes it possible for him to bring extensive down-to-earth knowledge of the realities of working with kids to his audiences. Corwin is a highly sought-after expert and speaker on the topics of self-concept and discipline. He presents his topic with enthusiasm, drama, humor, and credibility. Corwin has gained recognition as a national presenter as a result of his fast-paced, entertaining style and the usefulness of the information he presents.
